Our Be Safe Be Seen workplace program had an awesome tour of the South East – netball was on the agenda, but sadly no surf…
We’ve been running our ‘Be Safe Be Seen’ program with MAC for a while now – 2.5 years in the metro area – and have a national award under our belt. We thought it was about time we took ourselves to regional SA – and what a way to start!
The South East provided a cracking week of weather for our newly minted presenter, Ayden, and a very warm welcome. Over 5 days, he delivered 13 presentations to just over 200 locals in 6 towns.
Workplaces in Kingston SE, Naracoorte, Mt. Gambier, Millicent, Penola / Coonawarra and Bordertown hosted sessions, with consistently impressive attendance and a show of great support for our visit to the region.
The one opportunity for a surf was unfortunately on a rare day of flat calm – still, our multi-skilled presenter compensated admirably by filling in for a local netball team (they lost – a coincidence, we’re sure!).
A big shout out to all those who took on organizing a session for their workplace, those who attended, and especially to our ‘local hero’ Rob Forgan – we couldn’t have done it without you.
Where to next? If you’re in regional SA and would like us to visit, get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org or ph: 8168 9919.
Don’t forget – Adelaide metro enquiries are still very much welcome, too!
