Would you like to see a Be Safe Be Seen programme come to you in regional South Australia? Get in touch.
Our Be Safe Be Seen program has been exceptionally well received in the Adelaide metro area, by over 6700 attendees at just over 300 presentations. We’ve had quite a bit of interest from regional areas, and are thinking of heading out on the road over the coming year. So, we’d love to take expressions of interest from any SA regional workplaces that might like a visit. A brief refresher on the program: Based on new SA research, the Be Safe Be Seen program is a joint initiative between Bicycle SA and the Motor Accident Commission. The presentation pinpoints the types of crashes most often resulting in cycling casualty, and offers particular strategies to avoid them. It is extremely relevant to any level of experience, including the most experienced cyclist AND motorists, and specifically aims to reduce the number of cycling casualties on our roads.
Things to remember:
- The program is free
- Presentation is 30 minutes
- Minimum 10 attendees per session: if you can’t meet that number, join up with surrounding or like-minded businesses to hold a session together – it’s a great networking opportunity!
Some regional workplaces have already been in touch. If that’s you, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten! The program will remain open to metro workplaces, so if you haven’t had us out yet, make sure you get in contact to book a session. It’s free!
