Amy’s Ride SA turned out to be a perfect ride with amazing weather and smiles all round.
Wow, sometimes you wake up in the morning, and you know the riding weather is going to be perfect. After weeks of crazy weather in South Australia, Sunday 6 November proved to be an exception, a gorgeous 24 degrees.
The ride up the freeway was nothing short of spectacular.

And the section along the beach was amazing. There was next to no wind, and the water was sparkling.

The vineyards were looking divine.

Despite old Willunga hill being a hard slog, it was worth it.

And who can forget the wonderful descent all the way down Wickham’s hill.

Anyway, enough talking and enjoy this little video we put together!
Congratulations to all the riders that took part, and of course the wonderful army of volunteers that help make this event possible. Nearly 2,000 riders took part and helped call for safer cycling conditions.
Official Amy’s Ride SA photos will be available for purchase from Friday 11th of November from 5pm from Epsom Road Studios.
