Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator
Bicycle SA is seeking a part time Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator to join our team (3-4 days initially). The successful applicant will work closely with the team in a cross-organisational role that is pivotal to Bicycle SA ongoing success. The Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator will amplify our member and ride tour activities within the cycling community and oversee the delivery of the partnership benefits provided to our sponsors.
We are looking for an all-rounder, you will have hands-on experience conceptualising, creating, and coordinating our commercial campaigns. This includes for our membership, ride tours and events.
This position would suit a generalist modern marketer looking to grow and make their mark in an evolving organisation.
Essential selection criteria include:
• a modern marketing enthusiast who thrives on innovation, sales and results
• understanding of customer-first marketing to satisfy the target audience
• experience with digital lead-generation campaigns
• experience with marketing large scale community events
• understanding of targeted marketing campaigns
• experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and email marketing software (Word press)
• expertise in social media marketing, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat and Tik-Tok
• The ability to produce content for various marketing channels across multiple formats – written, graphic, video, audio, social media, EDMs
• excellent attention to detail, high-level personal organisation, ability to work to deadlines, and ability to prioritise tasks
• ability to write engaging marketing copy for social media

Community Engagement Manager
Bicycle SA is the peak body for recreational cycling in SA. We promote all types of cycling including recreation, transport, health and for the environment. Bicycle SA also operates government funded community programs to support health, wellbeing and education outcomes to our remote indigenous communities through our Bikes Palya program. Bikes Palya translates the excitement of cycling into learning opportunities for Aboriginal youth through programs that reinforce values of pride and responsibility while creating a healthy pastime. Bikes Palya aims to drive attendance rates higher and to engage with typically hard to reach youth through the power of the bike. In 2022 Bicycle SA is introducing Team BSA, a new program designed to help support marginalised youth aged 12-24 to develop life skills, including through educational and vocational skills to prevent them from becoming entrenched in the criminal justice system and to promote inclusion and build community resilience.
About the role
You will provide strategic and operational leadership of these programs and oversee the successful delivery of Bikes Palya & Team BSA programs to ensure the required outcomes are achieved. This position is based at Bicycle SA Headquarters in Adelaide with frequent intrastate travel and to the APY lands.
Qualifications & experience
Previous experience in working directly within remote Indigenous communities in a culturally sensitive manner.
Exceptional leadership and management qualities.
Deep understanding of best practice community development methodology.
Demonstrate strong task and time management with attention to detail.
Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up to date and provide reports and other information to management and stakeholders as required.
Previous experience in grant writing and acquittal processes would be highly regarded.
Tasks & responsibilities
Implement Bicycle SA programs into our regional communities through consultation with the appropriate stakeholders.
Manage a small dedicated team by leading and coaching them to deliver the necessary outcomes of the programs
Rostering casual staff to attend communities for the delivery of our programs
Develop and maintain positive relationships within our regional communities to increase the opportunities for other support partners be involved by way of corporate partnership and/or a philanthropic support
Manage the budget and acquittal process for each grants program.
Identify new grant opportunities and assist with the development of grant applications and acquittals.
