Ashby Magro Consulting

Bicycle SA is a member based not for profit association that has delivered on their message that bicycles play an active and vital role towards a more sustainable and vibrant South Australia.  This is your opportunity to continue this messaging whilst taking the lead on partnering with a range of government, business and community stakeholders across the State as Chief Executive Officer.

As Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for the strategy,  financial management  and leadership of Bicycle SA.  Maintaining a commercially sustainable organisation is key to funding the advocacy efforts of the organisation. As such you will be “the face” of the organisation and will strengthen and expand commercial and public sector partners and identify new sources of revenue through cycling events and commercial partnerships.

Providing leadership to the committed and experienced small team you will also ensure that the many volunteers are also supported and operate in a safe environment that enables Bicycle SA to continue to be financially successful whilst delivering to their members.

We need an experienced leader who is able to be both strategic and “hands on” staying focused on achieving the objectives and milestones of the strategic plan.  Commercially and financially astute you will be respected for your capacity to grow and maintain strong business partnerships that will ensure the continued financial sustainability of the organisation.

As the face of the organisation, you will be confident in dealing with the media, government and lobby groups.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as are advanced computer skills and knowledge of the role that social media plays in marketing.

There are exciting times ahead for Bicycle SA and you can play a pivotal role in leading the organisation.  A salary package in the low $100s will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
