Intermediate Bike Maintenance #1 - Gears and Brakes

Saturdays, 9am to 1 pm

Bike SA is excited to deliver a new and updated format for our Intermediate Bike Maintenance course (previously Comprehensive Bike Maintenance). We know you cannot learn without doing and with two extended sessions, spread over 2 Saturdays, you will have more time to practice your maintenance skills, both in the course and between the two courses, before learning more information.

Designed to teach you the everyday skills you need to adjust your bikes gears and brakes, and replace the parts of your bike that experience regular wear and tear; this course is for those who know the basics, and are ready to extend themselves in a supported environment. We limit class sizes to 10 participants to maximise your learning and structure the course to include content relevant to both road and MTB enthusiasts, as well as everyday riders. Please note that the skills and information covered in Basic Bike Care are presumed knowledge (the course does not cover puncture repair or other skills taught in Basic Bike Care).

It is required that you book into both parts of the course when booking (at times suitable to you).
