2018 Annual Tour
Kangaroo Island
20 - 27 October 2018

The 2018 Annual Tour will take you to the beauty of Kangaroo Island - setting out to explore and discover its wilderness, landscape and abundant wildlife and, on the way, enjoying the local hospitality.

As we ride around, stopping occasionally to soak up the scenery and indulge in some fresh produce, we'll get a taste of what the good life can bring, away from the hectic cities. Stunning beaches, wild coastline, National Parks, seals, penguins, sensational seafood, delicious local wines and produce and much more - Kangaroo Island has it all.

With a maximum of 200 riders, you can spend each day with a small group of like minded cyclists and relax each evening in the company of new friends.
Given the limited number of places available we expect that we'll fill up fast so stay tuned to secure your place on this unique cycling adventure as soon as registrations open!

Itinerary & Highlights

Starting and finishing in Cape Jervis, Annual Tour 2018 will kick off with a ferry ride across the infamous "Backstairs Passage" to the serenity of Kangaroo Island where delicious food and wine, gorgeous countryside, open skies and a mix of landscapes that support a multitude of unique birds and wildlife awaits. This is one tour not to miss out on.

Highlights:

  • Start and finish the tour with a ferry ride to from Cape Jervis at the southern tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula across to Penneshaw
  • Enjoy the unique food & wine produce of Kangaroo Island including locally sourced seafood, lamb, honey, marron and more.
  • Tuck into a feast of fresh Kangaroo Island oysters at American River
  • Visit Finders Chase National Park and marvel at unique natural features including Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks.
  • Get up close and personal with long-nosed sea lions at Seal Bay
  • Enjoy scenic landscapes and sweeping vistas of Kangaroo Island's rugged coastline
