Register a workplace ride team in the Fleurieu Fondo and this exciting program will be available to your employees for free.
The Smith Family is a children's charity helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves. With the continued generous support of fundraising riders, this year the Smith Family aim to raise $100,000 to help disadvantaged children succeed at school. One in seven Australian children are living in jobless families and this limits their choices, opportunities and outcomes in life.
Supporting a child's education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of disadvantage. Every dollar raised for The Smith Family through your ride will help provide disadvantaged children with the essential resources and opportunities they need to transform their lives through education.
Your support of a disadvantaged child's education today will help them into a better future.
If you are one of the first 200 riders who pledge to raise $150 for The Smith Family with your Fleurieu Fondo ride you will receive a complimentary event entry plus a free riding jersey. For riders who elect to fundraise for The Smith Family, all funds raised will go directly to the Smith Family. For riders who do not opt to fundraise for the Smith Family, event registration fees go directly to Bike SA, with the optional extra to make a donation to The Smith Family which Bike SA will pass on. Riders who fundraise for The Smith Family by raising $150 or more will also go into the running to win some great prizes!
So, are you up for the challenge? Lace up your runners and dust off your bike and start fundraising! If you cannot participate in the event but you would like to wish our team all the best, please donate now.
