corporate team challenge 5 EASY STEPS TO GET THERE Step 1 REGISTER Choose any challenge from Bicycle SA's programme of road and mountain bike rides, from completing 100km in AMY'S RIDE to how many laps your team can ride relay around the track in 24 hours at the DIRTY WEEKEND. Any ride. Any challenge. You choose. Step 2 RECRUIT As Team Captain, get together 3 or more of your work colleagues to make up a team. There's no limit to how many can participate. Step 3 MEET Bicycle SA will meet with you and your team to present the challenge and outline how you get there, including - How you can ride as a team
Step 4 TRAIN Bicycle SA will lead you and your team on a training ride, giving you and your team a sense of the challenge ahead. Step 5 PARTICIPATE The best step of all! This is what you've been working towards, completing the challenge as a team. Bicycle SA can help you get started, suggesting how to recruit your team and what is the best ride for you; as well as tips to get your team geared up. Register for the CO2RP PREMIUM PACKAGE and you also receive a Bicycle SA Cycling Vest with your company name and each team-member's name printed on the back, so you can stand out from the riding crowd. MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT WITH YOUR CO2RP TEAM CHALLENGE By getting on your bike instead of getting in your car, you help the environment, saving almost 1kg of harmful greenhouse gases for every 3 kilometres you ride. Cycling just 10km each way to work instead of driving saves 1.3 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year. (Source: Australian Greenhouse Office) RAISE FUNDS FOR YOUR FAVOURITE CHARITY Use the CO2RP Team Challenge to raise awareness and money for your chosen charity. Where the ride already has a benefiting charity (for example the Amy Gillett Foundation for Amy's Ride), you can split the funds you raise between the official charity and another of your own choice.
