This course is for those riders who feel comfortable with the basics but would like to learn a little more and become more independent.

Learn and practice the skills required to confidently repair, replace and adjust your brakes and gears. Ask those questions your mechanic never has the time to answer. Feel confident that you can make adjustments on the trail or perform that all important pre-trip tuning to ensure a perfect ride every time!

This program is structured to include content relevant to both road and MTB enthusiasts and covers workshop specifics for both bike designs, so whether you passion lies on the black stuff or the dirt you will get the instruction and the answers you are looking for.

Note: Hydraulic disc brake is bleeding is not covered within this course. Please refer to specific manufacturers instructions for further information.

At Bike SA we have a huge fleet of bicycles, partial bicycles, "exploded" components and wheels devoted solely to use in the classroom. Each workstation is equipped with specialised equipment selected and set up for the sole purpose of optimizing your learning.
