IntraBike - Your bike fleet

In achieving our mission statement of 'more South Australians cycling in safer, healthier communities', BSA has and continues to run a number of bike education and support programs such as Cyclesafe, Adelaide City Bikes and Cycling Adelaide that successfully promote the use of bicycles as a viable and practical active transport option in and around the CBD.

As a consequence of these programs, one of the most consistent pieces of feedback we receive from cyclists and employers is the lack of opportunity and infrastructure which effectively acts as a barrier in cycling to, from and within work. Studies both in Australia and internationally, have found that cycling as an option for intra-office transport offers a range of benefits for the long-term health, wellbeing and productivity of staff as well as the obvious cost savings.

In order to meet these needs, BSA is pleased to announce the launch of its commercial Bike Leasing plan - intra-Bike.

intra-Bike will give employers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to active transport by promoting a healthier workplace, playing an active role in supporting the Government's objective to make Adelaide a world leader in green living as well as providing a cost effective transport option for intra-office journeys.

Participation in intra-Bike provides your organisation with five hybrid "comfort" bicycles, helmets, bike locks and lights as well as bike racks for ease of storage. Additionally, each bike will be fully maintained with a fortnightly safety check as well as an annual major service. For as little as two $10 cab fares a day, intra-Bike can provide your workplace with five fully maintained bicycles for the year.
Additionally, BSA can also provide accredited bike education training for your staff to ensure a clear understanding of current road rules as well as greater skill levels and confidence when cycling on the road.

Being a member based organisation, BSA provides a range of high quality products and services to our members. One such service is our CycleCover INSURANCE PACKAGES which includes public liability cover, third party property as well as personal accident insurance for all members should they be involved in an accident.
