 Testimonials

Here's what rider said about the 2011 Outback Odyssey:

"My husband and I were participants on the recent Outback odyssey. We were both particularly impressed by the organisation and management of the event, so much so that we will certainly participate in other Bike SA organised events in the future. We also intend to recommend the ride to other cycling friends. It would be appreciated if our comments and sincere thanks could be passed on to Russell, Maureen & Ray. Many thanks for a wonderful event." Lisa - 2011 Outback Odyssey

"I still have bruises, very painful shoulder, sore bum and legs BUT am smiling......the Outback Odyssey was SENSATIONAL...everyone had a ball. This is such a unique ride and as you get closer to the Flinders Ranges you see what a magnificent country we live in, and how spectacular this particular region is.
Thank you so much for holding this event again. It was very very tough, but so rewarding to come in at the end of a hard days cycling, having a hot shower, then going for a tipple and hearing everyone else experiences of the day...magic! it really revitalised you.
I think having the local communities cooking for us was such a wonderful thing to happen, it brings income to the community for starters, but you feel a sense of belonging (even if only for an overnight/rest day period).
Russell, Maureen and Ray are stars, they are so professional, so in tuned to what needs to be done to make it all happen, and the volunteers - what can I say, they are all top people dedicated to this wonderful sport of cycling. I congratulate them all. They collectively made it such a special happening for us all.
We always felt safe and secure in knowing that you have such a dedicated professional crew backing everything up.
I can't wait to see the photos...AND, am already thinking, maybe a repeat might be in order for 2013!" Andy  - 2011 Outback Odyssey
