 Opportunities

Bike SA is the peak body for recreational cycling in South Australia.

We are a not-for-profit, independent, membership-based association supporting all things cycling. We believe riding a bike is good for your health, for the environment, for society and for your bank balance. Cycling reduces traffic congestion and keeps you fit.
If you believe your mission aligns with ours, then we would like to hear from you. There are a number of ways to work with Bike SA for measurable, mutually beneficial outcomes, from creating a bike-friendly workplace to becoming a sponsor or partner.

Bike SA works with small, medium and large organisations. Generally the strategy is to develop long-term relationships, often beginning simply and easily, without committing too much, too soon. We want to ensure the relationship works for you, as well as delivering benefits to riders. As things develop, we seek to build the relationship.

We are always alert to organisations who may be interested in providing grants or cash sponsorship for any one of our activities, such as events or education programmes. We also value highly the contributions of product and services, where that meets a need, such as catering product we can provide to riders or transport services for events. We also welcome sponsored product we can use as prizes, incentives and awards.

From a broader perspective, we seek to work with bike-friendly organisations who share our vision to get more South Australians cycling more often. Opportunities exist to partner on big-picture initiatives delivering sustainable behaviour-change, both in communities and in organisations.

In return Sponsors and Partners receive a range of unique benefits, from branding and promotion on our website, through our email newsletter and on marketing collateral, to unique on-site opportunities. For higher value support Bike SA offers discount benefits for your staff/customers, FOC entries, editorial and product content in our marketing material, branding on clothing and even access to shared target markets. Ultimately the benefits reflect the level of support.

Bike SA is open also to negotiating additional benefits, including exclusivity for major sponsorship, extending to Presentation and Naming Rights where available.

If you or your organisation would like to discuss the opportunities available, then please contact the General Manager at michael.bridge@bikesa.asn.au or (08) 8168 9907.
