 | Cobwebs Group Ride | | COBWEBS is a Saturday morning cycle ride organised through Bicycle SA and has different groups riding different distances at different speeds. Around 60-100 people ride from Glenelg to Outer Harbor and back every Saturday morning. The ride caters for a variety of speed groups, and new riders are inducted into group riding before progressing to faster groups. Safety of riders and courtesy to other road users is a key focus, with each group having 8-20 riders and a ride leader who carries a first aid kit. Riders come from all over Adelaide, and represent most age groups. Friendships are formed, aided by gathering at Planks on Adelphi Tce, Glenelg, for a coffee after the ride. Click here to download your version of the latest Cobwebs Ride Guide. This ride guide explains the benefits of group riding; rules, and techniques to safe bunch riding, signals, etc. Contact the Cobwebs coordinator via email at cobwebsadelaide@yahoo.com.au if you are thinking of joining. All are welcome, so get involved and go for a ride!
